Why spend  two and a half years tabulating and one year editing

out of print and inaccessible records from Randolph County, West Virginia

when your family is not even in the book ?

The mountains, music and caves of Randolph County have been a part of the family’s life

since living in Conicville, Virginia for almost twenty years – just four miles from the Alleghenies

sixty miles apart as the bird flies - but four hours as the loaded truck slowly weaves

After a seven month cross country trip centered in Moab, Utah in 2003-2004

Earl, Lauren and Forrest settled in Faulkner, on Shaver’s Fork of the Cheat River

During their first week they were reunited with the Burke’s from Alpine Lodge,

met Earl’s assistant the popular gandydancer, “Mayor of Bowden” Peck Vance,

then Lauren met a Lambert, and a Kerns from Kerens,

all names from her own family

Small world  - Enjoy!
